We’re excited to announce the release of AyeCRM 1.2.0, one of the most feature-rich updates since the launch of the platform. This release introduces personal email account management, CSV import for object records, customizable tables, a significantly expanded icon library, and powerful new tools for system administrators.
Personal Email Accounts
AyeCRM now allows every user to connect and manage their own email accounts directly within the CRM.
Users can configure personal IMAP and SMTP accounts through a dedicated Email Accounts page in their profile. The integrated Webmail module now makes it easy to switch between shared company mailboxes and personal accounts using an account selector in the sidebar. When composing an email, the selected sender address is clearly displayed, ensuring users always know which account will be used.
This provides greater flexibility for organizations where employees work with both shared support mailboxes and individual business email accounts.
CSV Import for Object Records
Managing large amounts of data has become much easier with the introduction of CSV import for object records.
The new import wizard guides users through a simple three-step process: uploading a CSV file, mapping columns to object fields, and importing the data. Column names are automatically matched whenever possible, while the mapping screen provides previews of the imported data to help prevent mistakes.
The importer supports quoted values, comma- and tab-separated files, and a wide range of field types including text, numbers, decimal values, dates, times, email addresses, phone numbers, URLs, dropdown lists, checkboxes, and multiline text fields. Empty rows are ignored automatically, and a detailed summary is displayed after every import.
Customizable Tables
Every user can now personalize how tables are displayed throughout AyeCRM.
Task lists, project lists, and object tables support configurable column visibility, allowing users to show only the information they need. Columns can be reordered using drag-and-drop and resized directly from the table headers. All preferences are saved automatically for each user, creating a personalized workspace that remains consistent across future sessions.
Special columns such as record selection checkboxes and action buttons are intelligently kept in their optimal positions for maximum usability.
Expanded Icon Library
Customization has received another major improvement with a dramatically expanded collection of icons.
The available icon set has grown from 20 to 132 high-quality SVG icons, covering business, communication, technology, people, tools, commerce, charts, media, locations, status indicators, nature, and many other categories.
The new icon selector provides a convenient scrollable grid with hover previews, making it easier than ever to create visually organized object types, categories, and attributes.
Technical Administration Panel
Version 1.2.0 introduces a dedicated technical administration panel designed specifically for developers and system administrators.
A hidden technical account can be configured through the application configuration file and is isolated from normal user accounts. The panel includes system statistics, user activity monitoring, detailed login history with IP addresses and browser information, searchable activity logs, and an integrated software update interface.
This provides administrators with powerful diagnostic and maintenance tools while keeping technical functionality separate from everyday business users.
Integrated Update System
Updating AyeCRM is now faster and safer.
Administrators can install new versions directly through the technical administration panel using drag-and-drop upload or by running the included command-line update utility.
During every update, AyeCRM automatically creates backups of replaced files, executes database migrations when required, maintains an update history log, and protects backup files from public web access. These improvements greatly simplify deployment while reducing the risk of failed upgrades.
Stability Improvements
In addition to the new features, version 1.2.0 includes numerous bug fixes and usability improvements.
Authentication events such as logins, logouts, registrations, and password changes are now correctly recorded in activity logs. Completed and cancelled projects no longer appear as overdue. The technical administration routing has been improved to eliminate redirect issues, and the translation system has been fully reviewed to ensure complete language coverage and eliminate missing interface labels.
Navigation within the user profile has also been refined by introducing a dedicated Email Accounts page and a more intuitive account menu.
Database Enhancements
This release expands the database structure with new tables and fields supporting personal email accounts, recurring tasks, meeting participants, enhanced survey scoring, survey question groups, and additional response metadata. These changes provide the foundation for future functionality while improving overall system flexibility.
